PokerRing Liga Details and FAQ

Concept

There will be 30 qualifier tournaments. 10 of those will be freerolls, 10 will have a buy in of $2+$0.20 and 10 more will have a buy in of $10+$1. The season will conclude with a grand final.

In the FreeRolls the top 30 there will be $60 in the prize pool. The winner also receives free entry into the $40+$4 grand final.

The $2 tournaments will sport guaranteed prize pools of $200 each! Additionally the winner receives free entry into the $40+$4 grand final.

We will guarantee a cash prize pool of $440 in each of the $10 tournaments! The top 2 finishers will receive free entry into the grand final on top of that.

The grand final has a guaranteed prize pool of $2000. To take part in the final you can either qualify or buy in directly for $40+$4.

Additionally we will be awarding a total of $2000 to the top 40 players in the league’s leaderboard.

How to participate?

To take part in the PokerRing League you need to create an account at TitanPoker and (important!) enter our bonus code POKERRING while you’re at it.

By entering the bonus code you will also receive a better-than-usual first deposit bonus of 100% up to $500. It is not possible to take part in our league tournaments without having registered your titanPoker account using our bonus code. If you already own a TitainPoker account, you can use PokerOcean instead. Just create an account at PokerOcean using the bonus code POKERRING.

How to qualify for the final

Qualifying for the final can be done in one of the following ways:
- Winning a FreeRoll
- Winning a $2 League Event
- Coming first or second in a $10 League Event
- Being in the top 40 on the League Leaderboard at the end of the season

Or you can simply buy into the grand final for $40+$4.

Leaderboard Points

Each time you play in one of the qualifier tournaments you earn points according to your finishing position in addition to possible price money and tokens. How many points you receive depends on your position, the number of participants and the buy in for the tournament. The actual formula looks like this:

round down ( ( ( Participants/Position ) ^ (1/3) – 1 ) * 27 * ( 1 + ln ( 1 + buyin ) ) )

At the end of the season the top 40 players will receive extra price money totaling $2000. This money will be distributed among the 40 players as follows:

FAQ

Do I have to pay to participate?

No, playing in the PokerLiga is completely free of any charges. There are tournaments that have a buy in, but you can qualify for all of them, including the final, by only playing the freerolls, without ever depositing any money.

When do the tournaments take place?

You can simply check here to see all upcoming league events.

How do I find the tournaments?

You can find the tournaments in your TitanPoker client software by clicking on “scheduled” an then “all scheduled”. Our tournaments are all named “PokerRing Liga X”.

Attention! The tournaments are listes in GMT on TitanPoker. So they are shown to start at 19:00, when really they start at 20:00 in central Europe.

I want to join, but I already have a TitanPoker account!

In case you already have a TitanPoker account, you won’t be able to create a new one for the league. Unfortunately only players who entered our bonus code are able to play in the league at this time.

Our tournaments are also available on PokerOcean and you will be able to participate in the league, by creating a PokerOcean account using our bonus code POKERRING.

I want to play, but “all I have” is a Mac!

This is really difficult. Unfortunately TitanPoker is for Pcs only. The only way to play it on a Mac is to emulate a windows environment (for example using “Parallels”).

How do I get my leaderboard points?

Each player in our tournaments is awarded points according to our formula. This is fully automatic. You don’t have to do anything.

For example:
1) You finish in first place in one of our league freerolls that had 50 players. You will now be awarded 72 league points in addition to your price money and a $2 token.
2) You finish fifth in one of our $10 tournaments that had 20 players. You will receive 53 points in addition to any price money.
