Sebastian Ruthenberg biography
Sebastian Ruthenberg started to play poker in 2004. For 2 years he practiced his game by playing online and little by little he finally achieved an excellent level. Already capable playing on high limit, he decided to become specialized in cash game head’s up. He played on tables with $1000 to $5000 buyin.
In 2006 he finished his studies, as an IT specialist, but chose to become a professional poker player. In 2007 the website PokerStars decided to sponsor Sebastian after his very good performances at the EPT German Open (where he finished 3rd) and at the EPT Baden Classic (where he finished 10th). PokerStars never regretted their choice, because in 2008 Sebastian Ruthenberg won 2 majors competitions: the WSOP 39th event (where he won the final against Chris Ferguson) and the EPT Barcelona.
Sebastian is the first German player to win $3 Million in tournaments. He is only 25 years old and he has his entire career in front of him to enter the poker history books.

Sebastian seems to be a player, who has all cards in his hands to succeed. He is calm, patient and aggressive when he must be and he never looks affected by what is happening on the table, even if his hand holds a critical play for the tournament.
Some of the names he uses online are taktloss47 (Full tilt poker, PokerStars) and LordLuckbox (PartyPoker, Titanpoker).
